Hawaii is beautiful place for holidays, couples retreats, family getaways and also getting in a quick fabric shop! I loved visiting Waikiki because it had the best of both worlds with stunning outdoor adventures, relaxing by the pool as well as shopping. If you are visiting Waikiki and want to get your fabric fix, here are some of the fabric stores that I visited on my last Hawaii holiday!

1. Fabric Mart
Website: Hawaii Fabric Mart
Location: 910 Kapahulu Ave, Honolulu, HI 96816
Overview: Fabric Mart is one of the most well-known fabric stores on Oahu. They carry a wide selection of fabrics, from cottons and silks to tropical prints and Hawaiian-style fabrics. It’s great for quilting, sewing, and general crafts.
2. Ben Franklin Crafts
Website: Ben Franklin Crafts
Location: 711 Kapahulu Ave, Honolulu, HI 96816
Overview: While Ben Franklin is more of a general craft store, they do have a good selection of fabrics, including Hawaiian prints and other sewing supplies.
3. Hawaiian Quilt Fabric Store
Website: Hawaii Quilts
Location: 1470 Nuuanu Ave, Honolulu, HI 96817
Overview: If you’re specifically looking for Hawaiian-themed quilting fabrics, this store is a gem. They offer unique prints that are perfect for quilting projects and also carry other quilting supplies.
Bike Ride Map Route

Google: Fabric Store Itinerary Map
If you don’t have a car, the best (and most fun) way to visit these stores is by a bicycle! You maybe even able to hire bikes from your hotel or Airbnb, but otherwise you could hire them for the day from bike hire shops.
Before using this map, please ensure these stores are still in operation and open during your visit. Be sure to add in your hotel if it’s within this area. I stayed at the Fairmont Orchid Hotel, which I added before and after this route for an approximate ride time of 30m and 4.5km (2.7 miles). You can also work out where the best place to eat is along the way for a fun day trip in Waikiki!

Fabric haul from Hawaii fabric stores
I was able to pick up some beautiful Hawaii themed flower print fabrics, in addition to some cute Winnie the Pooh fabric. The fabric was also very high quality and affordable in price.

Hawaii Holiday Photos
There is so much to do in Hawaii, depending on your visit. I only visited Waikiki and Kona Island, so there was lots of site-seeing, tours, eating and relaxing. Here are my top rated experiences from this trip!
- Kailua-Kona: Captain Cook Reef Catamaran Day Trip with Lunch
- Waikiki: Luau Show and Buffet Dinner
- Waikiki: Diamond Head Hiking
There are so many sights and things to see and do, so it would be easy to plan an itinerary to suit your family needs. Take a look at some of my photos from the trip. If you’re also interested in beautiful pre-made quilts, Moana Quilts is conveniently located in Waikiki near the hotels.
